VIDEO: Multiple emergency crews were honored during the Anderson City Council meeting Monday night for their actions during a recent house fire.
Officials said the fire happened on April 3 along Brown Street.
According to officials, crews responded to the scene and removed a mother and her two children from the house within 10 minutes of the first 911 call. Officials added that the victims were taken to the burn center for treatment, but they have since returned home to continue their recovery.
Those honored during the meeting included firefighters, dispatchers, police officers, EMTs and paramedics.
