The Emery County Sheriff's Office is asking water users in Elmo, Cleveland, Lawrence and part of Huntington to conserve water because no new water is being stored at the time. This water situation comes as a result of the Trail Mountain Fire. The fire has "compromised" the supply of culinary water for the aforementioned areas, according to a Facebook post by the Emery County Sheriff's Office. "The water currently working in the system is safe, but you are being asked to conserve as no new water is being stored at this time," the post states. "If you get your bill from North Emery Water Users, this pertains to you," the post states. "Otherwise, you are fine." The Emery County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center sent a Code Red call.
