Crews tackled a Hurricane City motorhome fire Saturday afternoon that left one with minor burns.
Authorities of Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue said that units responded to a fire involving a motorhome, another trailer, and other unspecified objects at 1 p.m. on April 20.
The blaze spread fast and had reached a quarter of an acre by the time fire personnel arrived on the scene. Firefighters worked quickly to control the situation and extinguish the flames. When all was said and done, officials reported that one person sustained minor burn injuries but denied medical treatment. No firefighters were injured.
Due to the remote location of this blaze, Hurricane Fire personnel had to shuttle water to the area. The origin point and cause of the fire remain under investigation.
