The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a residential three-story duplex fire on Friday afternoon that left one person displaced. Firefighters arrived at the 3700 block of DuPont Circle located in the Ocean Park section of Virginia Beach just after 1 p.m. Officials said when they arrived on the scene, heavy fire was showing. While crews battled the fire, other responding units entered the duplex to search for occupants and animals with nothing found. The fire was reported as being under control just after 1:30 p.m. Officials said that one unit was empty at the time and one resident was left displaced. No injuries were reported.
