Residents are safe after a house fire in Kingstowne Thursday afternoon. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the 7500 block of Cross Gate Lane. Units found fire showing from the garage area. The fire has been extinguished, and units were checking whether there was any extension of the fire into the home. There were no reports of injuries.
