In a heartbreaking turn of events, the young brothers who were injured in a house fire in Clifton, Virginia, last week have passed away, the family confirmed on a Monday morning Facebook post.
"We are devastated by these horrific events and heart broken that we lost our amazing sons. Our prayers along with all of yours have been answered, just in a different way. It wasn’t what we picked, and we are learning to surrender and trust God more and more," the father, Jamey Brice posted.
Last week, Jamey said his two youngest sons, 6-year-old William and 3-year-old Zachariah were undergoing treatments for smoke inhalation at Children's National Hospital after the fire broke out in their family home on April 10. Jamey said the boys, his eight-year-old son Logan, and his parents were inside their Whetstone Manor Court home when it caught fire.
