PHOTOS: Virginia State Police says no one was hurt after a tractor-trailer went up in flames on I-77 in Carroll County. Details remain limited; however, around 5:43 a.m. on May 2, troopers were called to the fire on the southbound side. We’re told a tractor-trailer was carrying cat food. Crews from Carroll County including the Hillsville Fire Department worked to extinguish the fire. Since then, all lanes on I-77 have been reopened and traffic is flowing in the area.
