Scott Miller, President, Western Fire Chiefs Association
Scott Miller, President of the Western Fire Chiefs Association, currently serves as an Assistant Fire Chief for the Golder Ranch Fire District, AZ. Chief Miller has been in the fire service since 1981 and has held a variety of Chief Officer positions since 1988. Chief Miller recently retired as Fire Chief for the City of Casa Grande Fire Department, a position he held for 20 years. Chief Miller graduated in 1998 with a MA in Organizational Management and in 1996 with a BA in Management from the University of Phoenix. He furthered his education by graduating from the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program in 2006 and received his Chief Fire Officer Designation in 2005 through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI).
