VIDEO: A two-alarm fire in Montgomery County sent two firefighters to the hospital Wednesday morning.
First responders were called to the 200 block of Limerick Center Road in Limerick Township just before 11:30 a.m.
Officials said the injuries appeared to be minor. The people inside the house and two dogs were able to make it out, but one cat is missing.
Fire officials say they knocked out the fire quickly.
They say warm days require firefighters to cool off before going back to fight the fire.
"So, the firefighters, when they come out of the building, are automatically sent to rehab, blood pressure checked and temperature, things of that nature...especially the in the weather today, it's a little warmer out today. So, you may actually have overheat, heat exhaustion scenarios," said Limerick Fire Department Chief Ken Shuler.

VIDEO: On Saturday, Kutztown Fire and Rescue is showing off some new sets of wheels in the way of new rescue and engine trucks.
"The engine alone was custom built from start to finish that is 2000 gallons in a single axle," said Kutztown Fire Deputy Chief Joshua Young.
They both have state-of-the-art safety features and better equipment. "We went with the rescue that had 750 gallons of water on it, where the old rescue truck had no water on it," said Young.
It's a parade and homing, to officially dedicate the two new apparatus.
But it's not just the brand-new ones they're showing off. A horse drawn tank from 1840 will make its way along the parade route too. Those are just a few of the trucks you'll see in the parade.
"They can expect to see a multitude of apparatus," said Young. "So far, we have about 40 pieces of fire apparatus registered."
